Our Caring Staff

Kevin Fisher is the licensed funeral director/owner of Fisher Funeral Home. In Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and California, Kevin has acquired experience invaluable to providing exceptional funeral service honoring the traditions of multiple races and cultures. His 34 years of funeral service experience began with a large firm in California where he was employed as a teenager, followed by employment at the age of 20 with a family-owned funeral home in Holdenville. Certain he wanted to make funeral service his life's work, Kevin completed mortuary school in Dallas, Texas, shortly after acquiring his wife Kathy in December of 1988. In the spring of 1989, he accepted a funeral director position in Springdale/Siloam Springs, Arkansas. After one year in Arkansas, he and Kathy returned to Holdenville to work for The Loewen Group at Hudson Funeral Home. With that company from July of 1990 to October of 1999, Kevin arranged and directed funeral services for hundreds of families in Holdenville and the surrounding communities, and served as manager of Hudson Funeral Home for several years before establishing Fisher Funeral Home in the Fall of 2000. He and Kathy carry on the daily operation of their business, and depend on excellent assistance from several members of the community who help with funeral services.

Staff members of Fisher Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals. We understand that while we cannot truly ease the pain of losing a loved one, there is much that can be done to lighten the burden created by that loss; our purpose is to lighten the burden as much as is humanly possible. We understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. Each request for our services is considered separate and unique from all others, and we strive to not only fulfill our obligation to families we serve, but to exceed that obligation - because each request for our services we consider to be a great honor.
