Wanda Jean Robinson passed away in Holdenville on Saturday, December 21, 2013, at the age of 63 years.
Wanda was the daughter of Billy & Ozell (Green) Anthony, born on September 10, 1950, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was brought up in Holdenville and attended Moss School, graduating Moss High School in 1968. She attended Byng School of Nursing in Byng, Oklahoma, and became a certified LPN. She worked one year at Holdenville General Hospital before suffering a serious accident which left her physically disabled. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church of Holdenville, and attended whenever her health permitted. She loved to read, and enjoyed cooking and baking.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Billy & Ozell Anthony, and an infant daughter.
She is survived by two sons: Wayne Robinson and wife Lori, of Holdenville and Wesley Scott Robinson and wife Jill, of Ada; five grandchildren: Bill Tippin of Ada, Hunter Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Bradley Robinson, and Brianna Robinson, all of Holdenville; two sisters, Shirley Brown and Joyce Mitchell, both of Holdenville; one brother and sister-in-law, David & Marlyn Anthony, also of Holdenville; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 26, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel, and Wanda will be laid to rest in the Holdenville Cemetery.
