Virginia Lee Venable passed away in Shawnee on Friday, September 11, 2015, at the age of 81 years.
Virginia was the daughter of Dillard & Pearl (Lypper) Blythe, born on July 21, 1934, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was brought up and attended schools in the Seminole area, and was a graduate of Seminole High School. She was married to Clarence H. 'Buster' Venable on July 8, 1946, in Holdenville, their lifetime home. Virginia was a homemaker at heart, and she loved to fish.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dillard & Pearl Blythe, and her brother, Dean Blythe.
She is survived by two stepchildren, Jackie Venable (Charlotte) and Donna Venable, all of Holdenville; six step grandsons: David Morgan (Lisa), Johnny Venable (Tammy), Buster Venable (Pam), all of Holdenville, Mark Maynard (Cass) of West Columbia TX, Everett Maynard (Kim) of Holdenville, and Bobby Maynard (Rose) of West Columbia TX; fourteen step great grandchildren: Brandon, Aaron, Megan, Daniel, Morgan, Derek, Kayla, Marissa, Carlee, Rhegan, Rachel, Kyle, D. J., and Taylor; several step great great grandchildren; four sisters: Mildred, Rosalee, Betty, and June; one sister-in-law, Linda Blythe; other family members and many friends.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel, with Rev. Earl Scroggins officiating.
