Tommy Darrell Walton, Sr. passed away at his home in Holdenville on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at the age of 59 years.

Tommy was the son of Bernie Lee Walton & Ruth Lorene (McFarland) Walton, born on June 3, 1960, in Garden Grove, California. He was brought up in California and also in Lubbock, Texas, where he attended schools.  He worked most of his life in the oil field as a roughneck, and later as dishwasher for June's Old Tyme Diner.  He was a tinkerer, and could fix anything. He loved spending time with his family, and some of his favorite things were riding bikes, playing football, fishing and gardening.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernie & Ruth Walton; his sister, Rita Walton, and six brothers: Ernie Walton, Wayne Walton, Jim Walton, Carl Walton, Paul Walton, and Kenny Walton.

He is survived by three children: Telisha Thompson (Shelby) of Holdenville, Tommy Walton Jr (Skyler) of Jay, and Mindy Bales (Mark) of Salina; seven grandchildren: Narli Thompson, Myah Thompson, Jordyn Walton, Jazmine Walton, Serenity Evans, and twin boys on the way; three brothers: Johnny Walton (Gladys) of Holdenville, Ronnie Walton of Lubbock TX, and Mike (Cairol Ann) of Holdenville; four sisters: Pat Crawford (Ralph) of Bowie TX, Nita Thetford, Fay Cook, and Donna Walton, all of Holdenville; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Memorial services were held at 12:00 noon on Sunday, January 12, 2020.
