Thomas Richard 'Rick' Harris passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at in Oklahoma City, at the age of 67 years.
Rick was the son of Richard Arnold Harris & Bertie (O'Neal) Harris, born on August 3, 1947, in Casa Grande, Arizona. He was brought up and attended schools in the Casa Grande and Phoenix areas. He worked in the Phoenix area for many years as a dry waller and also as a diesel mechanic. He moved to the Holdenville area in 1999. He enjoyed spending leisure time working on tractors.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Bertie Harris; his wife, Linda Harris, and daughter, Michelle Sexton; one sister, Rita Harris; two nephews, Brian Hartsfield and Robbie Barkhurst, and one niece, Lutricia Gallardo.
He is survived by one son, Waylon Harris of Holdenville; two grandchildren, Linda Rosa Harris of Holdenville and Sammy Compost of Phoenix; four sisters: Karen Jongsma and June Wilkerson, both of Phoenix, May Marsh of Holdenville, and Marcella Conyers of Sioux Falls, Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Private family services are planned.
