Taren Michelle Lowe passed away in Ada, Oklahoma on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at the age of 41 years.
Michelle was the daughter of Tochee & Daniel Narcomey, born on March 12, 1979 in Wetumka, Oklahoma. She attended Holdenville schools and graduated Holdenville High School with a Gold Diploma in the Class of 1997. She moved to the Okemah area and was employed as Patient Registration Clerk for the Creek Nation Hospital in Okemah for ten years, until she could no longer work due to injuries from an auto accident. Her family was the joy of her life and she loved watching her grandchildren, and attending ball games and any other activities with her kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed cooking. She especially loved family gatherings.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Tochee Lowe Narcomey; maternal grandparents Angel & Elizabeth Lowe, and grandmother Katie Narcomey.
She is survived by nine children: Ashlyn Postoak (Zack McEwin), Nathan Postoak (Adana West), Tyler Acosta, Konor Lowe, all of Okemah, Jeay Harjochee, Tayah Harjochee, Dayna Harjochee, Jessica Harjochee, and Neelah Harjochee, all of Henryetta; three grandchildren: Aidran, Elias, and Naciah; seven siblings: Kenda Lowe and Jon Lowe, both of Holdenville, Kathryn Narcomey of Shawnee, Ethan & Nicole Narcomey of Durant, Alyssa Narcomey of Holdenville, Alizabeth Narcomey of Claremore, and Misty Sands of Glenpool; her significant other, Jess Harjochee, of the home; her father, Dan Narcomey of Holdenville; numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends, including the father of her children, Ramon Acosta of Liberal KS.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Tokvbvche Methodist Church in Holdenville, and Michelle was laid to rest at the McGirt Family Cemetery in Yeager. Rev. Paul Fixico and Rev. Frank Moppin officiated the funeral service, Rev. Wayne Harjo officiated the graveside service. Pallbearers were Caleb Franks, Joe Scott, Jon Lowe, Zach Walker, Ethan Narcomey, and Josh Lowe. Honorary pallbearers were James Lowe, Kaynaan Narcomey, Mike McGirt, Darrick Walker, Erric Walker, Ramon Acosta, Norman Franks, Jay Alexander, Shaun Franks, Roman Narcomey, and Boston Lowe.
