Shirley Ann Nance passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the age of ninety-four years.

Shirley is the daughter of Audie & Opal (Pogue) Shipley, born on September 9, 1931, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and served on many service committees.

She is survived by her husband of seventy-five years, John Edward Nance Jr.; four children: John Nance III, Clark Nance, Leslie Lee, and Rex Nance; three grandchildren: Stephanie Wilburn, Ryan Nance, and Julia Kellici; three great-grandchildren: Liam Wilburn, Hazel Wilburn, and Kynslee Nance; other family members and many friends.
