Sharon Lee Dilbeck passed away in Holdenville, Oklahoma on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at the age of 73 years.
Sharon was the daughter of Wayne & Orval Hibben, born on October 10, 1948, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was brought up and attended schools in Garland, Texas, and was a graduate of Garland High School. She was married to Bobby Leon Dilbeck on October 16, 1967. They lived in Texas for a while and in Manteca, California for one year, before moving in 1970 to Holdenville, Oklahoma, their home for more than fifty years.
Some of Sharon's favorite things were cooking, going to garage sales, and traveling. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed working for many years as cashier and department manager for Walmart, until failing health forced her to retire.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne & Orval Hibben; her husband of forty-eight years, Bobby Dilbeck, on October 3, 2014; her brother, James Hibben; her granddaughter, Mackenzie Kirkendoll.
She is survived by five children: Angie Allen (Calvin) of Crossett AR, Wendy Dilbeck of Seminole, Bobby Dilbeck Jr. (Angela) of Holdenville, Misty Dilbeck of Holdenville, and Penny Bowman of Seminole; fourteen grandchildren: Chelsea, Brandon, Ashley, Tiffany, Bobby III, Chris, Randy, Alyssia, Matilyn, Mayleigh, Memphis, Mr, Jazmine, and Jordynn; seven great grandchildren: Bobby IV, Traysen, Tyler, Jonathan, Marky, Miracle, and Oakley; one brother, Thomas W. Hibben of Tulsa; other family members, and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 4, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Fisher Funeral Home-Lillye Chapel, and Sharon was laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka. Pallbearers were Bobby Dilbeck III, Randy Dilbeck, Chris Dilbeck, Chase Alexander, Dakota Rickman and Brandon Allen. Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Scull and Jonathan Scull.
