Sarah Lucien Kassen was born on July 16, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charles L. McMahon & Yolonda (Phillips) McMahon. She was brought up in the Tulsa area, where she graduated high school and attended college, and lived most of her life. She worked as a dental hygienist for ten years. She was the mother of one child, her son Jesse.

She was creative, gentle, outgoing and dynamic, and was affectionately known as 'Tobi'. She loved art, particularly stained glass. She enjoyed being active and loved playing tennis and volleyball, and swimming. She loved dancing and singing, and long walks on the beach. When her health failed so that she could no longer continue doing the things she loved, she moved to Holdenville to be with her son and daughter-in-law, Jesse & Michelle Sims. She passed from this life on Sunday evening, December 30, 2012, at the age of 64 years. She will be missed, but the sunshine she brought to so many lives will linger on.

Tobi is preceded in death by her father, Charles McMahon; her mother and stepfather, Yolonda & Sam Crossland; one brother, Danny McMahon.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jesse & Michelle Sims, and two grandchildren, Harley Bell and Destiny Bell, all of Holdenville; two sisters, Jessica McMahon of Colorado and Julia Crossland Ward of Boise, Idaho, and two brothers, Charles McMahon of Las Vegas, Nevada and Patrick McMahon of Austin, Texas; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends, including her very special friend and excellent caregiver, Rajina Lowe.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel, with Rev. Rick Madron officiating.
