Ronnie Gene Tucker passed away at his home in Holdenville on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the age of 65 years.
Ronnie is the son of Jerry & Joyce (Anderson) Tucker, born on March 18, 1960 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He was brought up in the Shawnee/Meeker area. He married April Whitlock on June 19, 1981, in Wewoka. His passion was motor vehicles, both as occupation and hobby. He worked for a while as a diesel mechanic, twenty-five years for Town & Country Auto in Wewoka, and ten years for Dean's Casing Crew in Holdenville before failing health forced him to retire. He was into racing of any kind including drag racing and street outlaws, and enjoyed the local car shows. He loved working on and building race cars. He enjoyed setting up sound systems for popular music and singing groups including the Hinsons, and watching Western movies.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry & Joyce Tucker, and his sister, Brenda Davis.
He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, April Tucker, of the home; four children: Wayne Tucker of Shawnee, Jerry Tucker of Holdenville, Stephanie Lucas (John) of Rockwall TX, and Frankie Tucker (Whitney) of Holdenville; thirteen grandchildren; two sisters, Ava Collins of Wewoka and Carla Hames (Dee Hoffpauir) of Diamondhead MS; mother-in-law, Donna Robinson of Seminole; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, November 17, 2025, 2:00pm at Legacy Church in Holdenville, and Ronnie was laid to rest at Glory Cemetery with Mr. John Lucas officiating. Pallbearers were Wayne Tucker, Frankie Tucker, Jerry Tucker, John Lucas, Austin Tucker, and Gavin Lucas. Honorary pallbearers were Boston Lucas, Brody Tucker, Channing Tucker, Zyrein Foreman, Cameron Yochman and Jerry May.
