Robert Wayne Norris Jr. passed away in Holdenville on Tuesday,
January 5, 2016, at the age of 57 years.

Robert was the son of Robert Wayne Norris Sr. & Dortha (Kiser) Norris, born on April 18, 1958, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was brought up and attended schools in various states including Kansas, Arizona,
New Mexico, California, and Oklahoma, where he graduated Ada High School with the Class of 1976.

He married Tammy May on December 15, 1978, at Capitol Heights Missionary Baptist Church in Holdenville, where they lived for most of their married life. They were blessed with a daughter, Melissa.
Robert worked several years as Manager of the Sonic and Stars drive-in restaurants. When the Stars restaurant closed, he became employed as Quality Control Inspector for both Wrangler and Liftgate in Seminole, and for TMCO in Wewoka. He retired from TMCO due to ill health, in 2012.

Robert was a member of the Capitol Heights Missionary Baptist Church in Holdenville. He enjoyed fishing, playing card games and Yahtzee, and loved gambling at various casinos. He dearly loved his family,
and he will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Norris.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Tammy, of the home; one daughter, Melissa Kirkpatrick (Karl) of Norman; four grandchildren: Chance, Connor, Colin, and Jasmine; his mother, Dortha Norris of Wewoka; two sisters, Debbie Deer of Wewoka and Rhonda Ryel (Fred) of Jenks; one brother, Clifford Norris (Laura) of Pinehurst TX; brother-in-law Jerry May of Oklahoma City; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends, including his beloved dogs, Bosco and Kitty.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 9, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel, with Rev. Mike Deer and Rev. Frank Moppin officiating.
