Richard Kenneth Jackson Sr. passed away in McAlester, Oklahoma on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the age of 82 years.

Richard is the son of O.K. Jackson & Mary Leola (Lucas) Jackson, born on November 27, 1942, in Long Beach, California. He was brought up and attended schools in Oklahoma City, and graduated Star Spencer High School with the Class of 1961. Following graduation he worked with his father as a welder, and continued in that occupation for most of his life in pipeline construction. He purchased property in Kingston, Oklahoma and moved there in 1983. He married Connie Allen in Kingston in 1992, she preceded him in death in 2003. Richard retired in 2006 and enjoyed spending time fishing and working on cars. He loved restoring old and antique cars and Jeeps, especially his favorite vehicle, the 1947 International pickup.

He is preceded in death by his parents, O.K. & Mary Jackson; his wife, Connie Jackson; his sister, JoAnn Bullard.

He is survived by his son, Brian Jackson and wife Sheila, and grandson Richard Jackson and wife Taylor, all of Holdenville; three great-grandchildren: Rowdie, Taylie, and Lydie; his brother Herb Jackson and wife Janice of Chandler; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
