Peggy Lue Brewer passed away at her home in Holdenville on Monday, January 27, 2014, at the age of 73 years.

Peggy was the daughter of William Andrew O'Neal & Roma Buella (Fullerton) O'Neal, born on May 2, 1940, in Stidham, Oklahoma. She was brought up in Oklahoma and California. She was married to Harvey D. Brewer on September 12, 1956, in Odessa, Texas. They lived for several years in Taft, California, where they owned and operated a restaurant and bar. They returned to Oklahoma to live in the Holdenville area in 1978. Harvey Brewer passed away that same year.

Peggy worked for many years as a home health provider, and opened a second-hand store in Wetumka. She enjoyed garage sales and yard sales, having her own sale at home or driving around the area shopping the local sales; she loved sorting through it all and finding treasures among the trinkets. She loved growing flowers, and always had a beautiful garden at her home. When her health permitted, she attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Will & Roma O'Neal; her husband, Harvey D. Brewer; one son, Ronald Gene Brewer, and one daughter, Teresa Brewer; three sisters: Bertie Harris, Della Coats, and Jenia Mungary; two brothers, Bill O'Neal and William O'Neal.

She is survived by six children: Gary Brewer, Brenda Reed, and Kevin Brewer, all of Holdenville, Jimmy Brewer and wife Sandra of Taft, California, Deanna Hunt and husband Bob of Ozark, Arkansas, and Tera Brewer of Seminole; eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; one sister, Margie Higgins of Los Angeles, California; a very dear friend, Jean Blackwood and husband Dave of Holdenville; other extended family members, and many friends.
