Pauline Lucille Wylie passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, at the age of 90 years.
Pauline was the daughter of Seno & Viola (Rowland) Weaver, born on October 23, 1919, in Allen, Oklahoma. She was reared and attended school in the Allen/Francis area. She married Ira Kilcrease in 1935. She was later married to W. C. Wylie, on April 3, 1956, in Clovis, New Mexico. They moved to Holdenville in 1958, and made their home there for all their 35 years together before Mr. Wylie passed away in 1991.
Pauline was a member of Fairview Pentecostal Church northeast of Holdenville. She loved to cook and quilt.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Seno & Viola Weaver; her husband, W. C. Wylie; one daughter, Betty Hostetler, and one son, Austin Kilcrease; two brothers, William Weaver and Robert Weaver, and one sister, Mae Harmon.
She is survived by four children: JoAnn 'Jodi' Howard and husband Floyd, of Holdenville, Mary Conley and husband Nathan, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Bobby Kilcrease of Lamar, and Larry Wylie and wife Frances, of Quinton, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Virgie Longcnye, of Tulsa; various other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2010, and Pauline will be laid to rest in the Non Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bobby Kilcrease, Larry Wylie, Robert Conley, Aaron Wylie, Jerry Turner, Lonnie Carter and Austin Carter.
