Paula Gayle Pickett joined Larry in heaven on January 4, 2023.  She was born to Pauline and Jack Jacobs of Holdenville on February 8, 1956.  She was preceded in death by her mother Pauline, father Jack and husband Larry.  She is survived by her brother Bill and wife Diane of Tecumseh, son Toby and fiancé Angel of Seminole, daughter Paulette and husband Jeff of Guthrie, granddaughter Mallory and her husband Jordan of Edmond, grandson Kyle of Guthrie, granddaughter Austyn of Guthrie and great-granddaughter Allyson of Edmond.  She has many nieces and nephews that she loved greatly along with a number of friends that she counted as family.

Paula married the love of her life Larry on July 5, 1972, in a small ceremony in her aunt's house in Holdenville.  They were blessed with 2 children Toby and Paulette.  She raised not only her children but countless number of children whenever their was a need for a step in mom. She worked full time in various fields including health care, apartment management and finance until her retirement in 2018.  She was an avid reader and loved to garden.  She would have some of the prettiest flower gardens in Holdenville.  She loved to travel with her daughter to Kyle's lacrosse tournaments and anywhere Paulette would take her.  She found great joy in her children and especially her grandchildren.  She was so excited for the birth of her great-granddaughter Allyson, but sadly she was only able to see her on FaceTime.

A Memorial Service for Paula was held at the Holdenville Cemetery Chapel on Saturday January 7, 2023 at 2pm.
