Paul Dean Crowell passed away in Warner, Oklahoma on January 17, 2011, at the age of 64 years.
Paul was the son of Earl Allen Crowell & Irene (Moore) Crowell, born on August 24, 1946, in Midway, Arkansas. He was brought up and attended schools in Paris, Arkansas, and worked there for many years as a car detailer for Rogers Chevrolet. He loved cars, and his extensive collection of Hot Wheels included every make of automobile. He was also very musically talented and loved playing various instruments. He loved 'tinkering', making things, repairing things, and he enjoyed doing woodwork.
He moved to Holdenville in 2004 to be near his sons.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Irene Crowell; one brother, Herman Crowell, and two sisters, Dorothy Couthren and Lucille Miller; one son, Brad Crowell; one nephew, John Crowell.
He is survived by one daughter, Shelly Sheiffer and husband Chris of Austin, Texas, and three sons: Joseph & Wendy Crowell of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jeff & Sharla Crowell of Lamar, and Shawn Crowell of Holdenville; thirteen grandchildren; seven sisters: Lena James, Betty Harris and husband Oddie, Earline Jones, Jean Rowan and husband Burl, all of Paris, Arkansas, Wilma Brock of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Christine Kelly, his twin, of Alma, Arkansas, and Caroline Verdot of Ukiah, California; two brothers, Leon Crowell of Paris, Arkansas and Dean Crowell and wife Marie of Holdenville; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were Friday, January 21, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home in Holdenville, and Paul was laid to rest in the Holdenville Cemetery. Rev. Wendell Cox was the officiating minister. Pallbearers were Jeff Crowell, Jeffery Crowell, Shawn Crowell, Paul Ford, Rick Henderling and John Jones Honorary pallbearers were Pa'tan Crowell, Bradley Crowell, Christopher Ford and Willie Henderling.
