Pattie Joyce Pack passed away in Oklahoma City on Friday, September 9, 2016, at the age of 77 years.
Pattie was the daughter of Obed & Dollie (Camp) Luna, born on April 24, 1939 in Lamar, Oklahoma. She was brought up in Lamar and attended Lamar and Shady Grove schools. She was married to Bill Pack in Van Buren, Arkansas on May 5, 1956. They lived in Lamar for a short while, then moved to California, where they spent three years in West Covina before returning to Oklahoma to live in the Wetumka and Holdenville area. Pattie made her home in Holdenville for the past 15 years.
Pattie's favorite things were fishing, hunting, and horseback riding. She especially enjoyed hunting deer with a .306 rifle, and riding a horse named Jubal. What she loved best was taking care of her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Obed & Dollie Luna; her beloved husband of 58 years, Bill Pack, on February 28, 2015; brother Jim Luna and infant brother Melvin Luna; two grandsons, Travis Pack and Joshua Pack.
She is survived by three children: Curtis Pack of Holdenville, Barbara Blair (Jason) of Lamar, and Odell Pack of Holdenville; two grandchildren, Kristi Gore and Jeremy McConnell (Stacey), all of Holdenville; ten grandchildren: Piper Gore, Easton Gore, Ryan McConnell, Kadyn McConnell, Kelsey McConnell, Brandon Sullivan, Brooklyn Sullivan, Danielle Sullivan, Savanna Sullivan, and Kaylee Sullivan; two sisters, Betty Talbot of Checotah and Billie Hayzlet of Chouteau MT; one brother, Ronnie Luna of San Antonio TX; nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel.
