Pamela
Howell
December 10, 1949 – December 23, 2025
Pamela "Pam" Piatt Howell, born December 10, 1949, went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2025. Known for her quick wit, warm humor, and the unmistakable twinkle in her eye, Pam had a gift for making people smile. If heaven wasn't lively enough already, it surely is now — a little louder, and a whole lot more joyful.
Pam's love for her family was the heartbeat of her life. She is survived by her children: Casey Howell (Eric Burkhart) of Richmond, Indiana and Whitney Howell (Doug) of Elk City, Oklahoma. She also leaves behind her granddaughters Bailey Burkhart, and "Her Sunshine" Kinzie Howell (Brian) of Richmond, Indiana, and the great‐grandchildren who were truly her world: Zyan, Kian, Ori, and Archie Howell. No matter how she felt, you could bet the bank that when her great‐grandbabies showed up or called, Pam lit up. She did everything in her power to play, giggle, tickle, and laugh — creating memories that will be cherished for generations.
Pam was a woman of deep faith who loved God, her family, and sharing her heart through cooking. She had a remarkable ability to turn any moment into a story worth retelling, always leaving those around her laughing. Her humor, kindness, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gidean Franklin "Frank" Howell; her grandson, Jackson Cole of Oklahoma; and her parents, Abner Charles and Helen L. Piatt (McGuire). Heaven is lucky to get her next.
A graveside service was held at Holdenville Cemetery on Saturday, January 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in Holdenville, Oklahoma, where family and friends gathered to celebrate her life of faith, laughter, and love. There was no viewing, and the service was closed casket.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital — a charity dear to both Pam and Frank's hearts.
Pam leaves behind a legacy of joy, devotion, and stories that will continue to bring smiles for years to come. Her laughter will echo in the hearts of those who loved her.
