Mildred 'Millie' Gentry's Obituary
Mildred 'Millie' Louise (Harper) Gentry was born January 21, 1937 in Cromwell, Oklahoma to Sam and Frankie Harper. She took her journey home October 4, 2011 after a long battle with cancer.
Millie is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Kim Spencer.
She is survived by one son, Mark Spencer of Shawnee, and one daughter, Sheryl Austin of Shawnee; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, Billy and Lori Harper of Shawnee, Dale and Fran Harper of Earlsboro, and one sister, Wylene Miner of Shawnee; special friends Charlsie Durrett, Lois and Ron Siler, Kellie Peck and Shirley Franks; special nieces Lisa Mathes and Tina Lowery, who helped take care of her along with her son Mark.
Millie loved cooking, sewing and quilting, but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.
Graveside services will be at Sand Creek cemetery in Cromwell on Thursday, October 6, at 11:00 a.m.
