Obituary

Merian Lee Savage passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010, in a motorcycle accident near Wetumka. He was 31 years old.

Lee was the son of Lloyd & Deborah (Abshire) Savage, born on September 29, 1978, in Pineville, Louisiana. He was brought up in Arizona, his home for twenty-one years. In 2004, he moved to Wetumka. He worked as a crew chief for Ram Jack of Oklahoma in Ada. He enjoyed playing X-Box and fooseball, he loved outdoor BBQ and playing horseshoes. His favorite things were riding motorcycles and hanging out with friends. Lee is going to be sorely missed.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Deborah Bell of Holdenville and Rex Little of Wetumka; his aunt, Dusty Ray Avery of Wewoka; his father, Lloyd Savage of Louisiana; two brothers, Michael Olden of College Station, Texas and Alton Savage of Holdenville; one sister, Patricia Savage of Wetumka; his companion of four years, Carla Malouf, of the home; stepchildren and step-grandchildren; other relatives and friends; a long-time pal, his Boxer dog, Lily.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 30, 2010, 10:30 a.m. at Lillye Chapel, Fisher Funeral Home in Holdenville. Rev. James Lawrence is the officiating minister. Honorary pallbearers are John Rhinehart, Zach Hanks, Kevin Wilbourn, Randy Malouf, Robert Malouf, Alton Savage, Jesse Bunyard, Richard Jones, Kerry Cowell, and his Ram Jack crew and fellow employees.
