Mary Lou Cravens passed away in Oklahoma City on Thursday evening, February 28, 2013, at the age of 77 years.
Mary was the daughter of Homer & Virginia (Beck) Pullen, born on November 11, 1935, in Ada, Oklahoma. She was brought up in various places all over the U.S., and has lived in the Holdenville area for the past 35 years. She was married to Lawrence Cravens in Holdenville on July 7, 1979.
Mary loved attending her church, Gleaners Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wewoka, and she loved spending time with her kids.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer & Virginia Pullen; her husband, Lawrence Cravens, on October 14, 2005; two daughters, Sharon Orsborn in 2006 and Renee Curlee in 1994; two brothers, Bruce Pullen and Wayne Pullen, and one sister, Homajean Dockery.
She is survived by six daughters and one son: Janet Mullens of Konawa, Sandra Booth of Grand Lake, Oklahoma, Patricia Harrington and Melinda Childers, both of Holdenville, Christy Curlee and husband Danny Walton, of Fort Worth, Texas, Kim Crow of Holdenville, and Tony Curlee of Bowlegs; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 4, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at Gleaners Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wewoka, with Rev. Larry Chesser officiating.
