Marvin Leroy Johnson passed away in Oklahoma City on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the age of 66 years.

Marvin is the son of Joseph J. Johnson & Mary Harrison, born on May 23, 1957, in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He was brought up and attended schools in Seminole and Hughes Counties, graduated New Lima High School, and joined the U.S. Army National Guard. He married Murlean Tumbler. He worked for many years as an electrician for Osmond Electric in Oklahoma City. His favorite things were fishing, hunting, football, and riding motorcycles.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Johnson and Mary Harrison.

He is survived by one daughter and one son; his stepdaughter, Patricia Hawkins; two brothers, Joe Johnson Jr. and Arthur Johnson; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, April 12, 2024, 2:00pm at Fisher Funeral Home-Lillye Chapel, and Marvin was laid to rest at Tiger Family Cemetery in Wewoka, with Rev. Dan Factor officiating. Pallbearers were Tom Williams, Jesse Williams, Dennis Kennerson, Mitchell Hill, Kenneth Williams, and Ian Williams.
