Malinda Elaine Hardwick passed away at her home near Holdenville on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at the age of 52 years.
Malinda was the daughter of David & Helen (Hance) Martin, born on December 22, 1964, in McAlester, Oklahoma. She was brought up and attended schools in Stuart, and graduated Stuart High School with the Class of 1982. She worked at the Stuart Quick Pick for a while and then moved to Holdenville, where she was employed at The Bank NA.
She was married to Jerry L. Hardwick on June 29, 1991, at Texas Banner Church of God in Horntown. She worked for Stuart Schools, and then for several years in the Hughes County Court Clerk's office.
Malinda loved animals, photography, and being outdoors. She loved birds in particular, and enjoyed combining her hobbies of birdwatching and raising chickens with her talent in Photography. She spent many happy hours outside taking pictures of family, friends, and nature. One of her favorite things was playing card games and other games with family. She loved nothing in the world more than just being with her family. Most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Holdenville. Her loss has left an empty space in many hearts and homes, and she will be missed.
