Lonetta Faye Townley passed away in Holdenville, Oklahoma on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at the age of 79 years.

Lonetta was the daughter of Kenneth & Cleo Lee (Webb) Henry, born on March 31, 1943, in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was brought up in the Holdenville and Wewoka area, and graduated Holdenville High School with the Class of 1961. She was a homemaker in various locations for several years during her husband's military career. She drove a truck for a few years, worked for a truss manufacturing company, and then at Big Yank for eight years until the factory closed. When that happened, she attended Wes Watkins Technology Center where she earned her LPN license, and worked for twenty more years at Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, retiring in 2009. She loved planting and growing flowers. She loved relaxing indoors, and if she had a cat and a crossword puzzle, she was happy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Henry and Cleo Lee Scroggins.

She is survived by three children: Tina Phillips (Phillip Tiger), Leonard R. Dooley, and Misty Sanders (James), all of Holdenville; nine grandchildren: Derryck Phillips, Diedre Phillips, Dustin Phillips, Dasha Bristow, Leonard Dooley IV, Joshua Dooley, Aaron Sisco, Alexa Gustin, and Lucas Gustin; twenty-six great grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Jay of Holdenville and Ginger Kester of Noble; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, April 1, 2023, 1:00pm at Fisher Funeral Home - Lillye Chapel, with Rev. Larry Chesser officiating.
