Graveside funeral services for Leo Epperley Jr. were held at Holdenville Cemetery on Monday, December 27, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.  Leo passed away in Holdenville on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the age of 86 years.

Leo Owen Epperley Jr. was born October 19, 1935, in the New Model area of Seminole County, Oklahoma. Leo was born to Velma (Shores) Epperley and Leo Epperley Sr. He attended grade school at Wewoka and Kight schools, graduating from high school at Spaulding, Oklahoma, in 1953. He was a member of the South Creek Church of Christ in Holdenville. He worked as a manager in the insurance business for seventeen years before going into business and forming AAA Fire Equipment Company, which he owned for twenty-seven years until his retirement in 2005. He married Joy E. McCoin on January 19, 1957, in Ada, Oklahoma.

Leo is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joy Epperley, of the home; grandsons Jacob Epperley (Amy) of Tyler TX and Russel Ware of Shawnee OK, and great-granddaughters Jenette Lea Ware and Tabatha Mae Ware.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two children, Lea Ellen Ware and Leo 'Trey' Epperley III.
