Larry Tyron Brown, a Holdenville resident, passed away in Oklahoma City on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at the age of 64 years.
Larry was the son of Albert Lee Brown & Goldie (Davis) Brown, born on February 10, 1948, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was brought up and attended schools in Oklahoma City, and was a graduate of Douglass High School.
As a young man, Larry enjoyed working in an ice cream shop. His primary occupation was auto body restoration, he had a talent for repairing, rebuilding and restoring damaged motor vehicles. For the past three years he had been an employee of the City of Holdenville, working on line maintenance for the Water Department. In his leisure time, he loved to fish, and he loved gardening.
He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Lee Brown, and one brother, Melvin Rochell 'Roc' Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Brown, of the home; two sons, Jamil Brown of Fairfax, California, and Jason Brown of Opelousas, Louisiana; one sister, Renee Pickett, and one brother, Albert Lee Jr. 'Skip' Brown, both of Oklahoma City; one niece, Kamesha, and one cousin, Brenda Williams, also of Oklahoma City; various other relatives and many friends.
Viewing/visitation will be Monday, December 17, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel.
