Kim Stanley Spencer was born August 2, 1955 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Mildred and Marvin Spencer. He left this life February 19, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna Spencer, of the home; his mother, Millie Gentry of Shawnee, and his father, Marvin Spencer of Okemah; his son, Andrew Moudy of Shawnee, and his brother, Mark Spencer of Seminole; a special family friend, Kelly Peck. Kim had numerous aunts and uncles, including Billy and Lori Harper of Shawnee, Dale and Fran Harper of Earlsboro, and Wylene Miner of Shawnee.
Special thanks to cousins Johnny Miner, Tim Miner, Terry Miner and Tina Lowery, who never left Kim's side along with Dianna; also Lisa Beth Mathis, who stayed by Kim's mother's side during these troubling times.
Kim enjoyed fishing and hunting along with doing carpentry with his Uncle Billy. Kim was a caregiver, and spent a majority of his time taking care and spending time with his mother, Millie, whom he loved so much. He enjoyed making people laugh and teasing them at sometimes any expense… that was just Kim and we will all miss that.
Kim was preceded in death by grandparents Burt Sanford, Frankie Harper, and Morgan and Agnes Spencer.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 22, 11:00 a.m. at Sand Creek Cemetery in Cromwell, Oklahoma. Rev. Joe Lunsford is the officiating minister. Pallbearers are Tim Miner, Johnny Miner, Terry Miner, Dale Harper, Jr., Jared Stafford and Jeremy Miner.
