Kathy May Ogburn passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the age of 64 years.
Kathy was the daughter of Eugene & Mildred (Landis) Bell, born on November 10, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where she was brought up and attended schools. She earned her GED, attended truck driver training school, and drove five years for Cotton Brown Company in Jones, Oklahoma, and also for Swift Trucking Company.
She loved the art of photography and enjoyed taking pictures and developing them in her lab. She loved horses, particularly race horses. She was into physical fitness, loved to work out, and was an avid runner until she was in her 50s.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene & Mildred Bell.
She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Ogburn, of El Reno; two grandsons, Dillon Ogburn of Oklahoma City and Matthew Sylvester of Jones; four siblings: Beverly Evans of Wewoka, Gene Bell of Norman, Brenda Peck of Sequim WA, and Dan Bell of Arizona; nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
Memorial services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at First Assembly of God Church in Wewoka, with Rev. Perry Justus officiating.
