Kathryn Marie Fritz passed away at her home in Holdenville on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the age of 73 years.
Kathryn was the daughter of Joe Allison & Pearl Lamoni, born on November 24, 1944, in Coalgate, Oklahoma, where she was brought up and attended schools. She was brought up by her mother and stepfather, Sippy Hart, whom she considered her Dad. She was married to Harold Wayne Key Sr. and they were the parents of six children: Joanna, Larry, Ronnie, Wayne, Roy, and Billy Joe. The family lived in Coalgate and Ada for several years. Kathryn has made her home in Holdenville for more than forty years.
Kathryn was a homemaker who often inspired the saying, "you could eat off her floors" because she so enjoyed keeping her house clean and neat. She was a member of he Blue Baptist Church near Connerville. She loved her home, and she enjoyed going to yard sales. But her whole life was about her children and grandchildren, she loved them all profoundly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sippy & Pearl Hart; her father, Joe Allison; one daughter, Joanna Allison, and two sons, Wayne Key and Ronnie Key.
She is survived by three sons: Larry Key of Oklahoma City, Roy Key (Marla) of Ada, and Billy Joe Key of Shawnee; daughter-in-law Marlene Key of Holdenville; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Hampton (Betty) of Noble, and Gerald Hart (Rita) of Bromide, and one sister, Debra Poe of Pontotoc; numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 2, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Blue Baptist Church north of Connerville, with Rev. Larry Hawkins officiating. Pallbearers were Levi Hart, Josh Key, Gerry Poe, Cody Key, Devon Key, and Michael Worcester. Honorary pallbearers were members of Blue Baptist Church.
