Karen Elaine Brock passed away in Midwest City, Oklahoma on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the age of 77 years.

Karen was the daughter of Baxter Gordon & Thelma (Bennett) Gordon, born on August 2, 1945, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, where she was brought up and attended schools. She enjoyed being involved in the music department and sang with the Stardusters singing group. She graduated Holdenville High School with the Class of 1963. She attended East Central University in Ada for a short time, then moved to Oklahoma City and began her career, which lasted more than thirty-six years. She worked in Oklahoma City for Jack Cooper Transport and United Transport from 1972-1974, then moved to Kansas City and worked for United Transport from 1974 to 2007. She returned to Oklahoma in 2011. She enjoyed reading and playing with her dog, Dixie, and she loved family outings and get-togethers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Baxter & Thelma Gordon; two sisters, Tammy Gordon and Joyce Dempsey; two brothers: B. R. Gordon and Ronnie Gordon; four brothers-in-law: Bill Wilmeth, Bill Cummins, Don Klick, and Jack Dempsey; three sisters-in-law: Johnnie Gordon, Sue Gordon and Andi Gordon.

She is survived by one son, Kevin Brock of Choctaw; three brothers: Willard Gordon (Faye) of Canyon City CO, John Gordon (Rilda) of Moore, Harold Gordon (Jennie) of Holdenville; three sisters: Barbara Cummins of Noble, Donna Klick of Choctaw, and Peggy Wilmeth of Lindale TX; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services were held on Monday, April 17, 2023, 11:00am at Holdenville Cemetery Chapel, with Rev. Earl Scroggins officiating.
