Joyce Alyene (Searcy) Crawshaw passed away at her home on April 27th, 2017. She was born June 4th, 1935 near Calvin, Oklahoma to Jimmie Searcy and Mildred (Blaylock) Searcy. Joyce attended school at Calvin, Oklahoma. She married Johnny Crawshaw on June 16, 1951 at the home of her grandparents, Dee and Josie Blaylock at Calvin, Oklahoma. She was of the Church of Christ faith and a life long resident of Hughes County. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a homemaker and she and Johnny raised three boys: Johnny Steven, Randall, and David Crawshaw.
Joyce is survived by two sons, Randall Crawshaw and wife, Debbie of Houston, Texas and David Crawshaw of El Reno, Oklahoma; three grandchildren: Steven Don Crawshaw of Calvin, Oklahoma, Cassie Ross of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Amy Pino of Moore, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren: Draven Sullivan, Whitney Pino and Rylie Pino; two brothers: Earl Searcy and wife Teresa of Shelbyville, Kentucky, Jim Searcy and wife Joyce of Calvin, Oklahoma; two sisters: Imogene Capps of Holdenville, Oklahoma and Wanda Powell of McAlester, Oklahoma; Special Friend, David Hoover of Calvin, Oklahoma; one aunt, Pauline Blaylock of Holdenville, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of thirty-eight years, Johnny; her son, Johnny Steven; one brother, James Searcy and one sister, Jimma Jo Searcy.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017, and Joyce will be laid to rest in the Atwood Cemetery, with Keith Warren officiating.
