Jimmy Scott 'Scottie' passed away at his home in Holdenville on Sunday, April 24, 2016, at the age of 61 years.
Scottie was the son of J. B. & Johnnie (Moore) Wingo, born on June 29, 1954, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, where he was brought up and attended schools through his Junior year at Holdenville High School. The family moved that year to Ventura, California, where Scottie graduated Ventura High School with the class of 1972. He thoroughly enjoyed fixing broken things, and scouring the Internet for instructions on how to repair just about anything. He loved listening to music, especially Jim Croce and Creedence Clearwater Revival. He loved his family, and he loved his five dogs: Butch, Brown Dog, Queenie, Blake, and Bobby.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, and his father, J. B. Wingo.
