Jimmy Donald Brewer Jr. was born on November 20, 1959 to Eudena and Jimmy Donald Brewer Sr. He passed from this life on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at his home in Holdenville.

Jimmy attended Holdenville schools and graduated as part of the class of 1978. Following high school he married Janie Marie Jay in 1980. Together they had three children, Josh, Jennifer and Jessie. He worked different jobs throughout his life but spent most of his years working as a machinist. He picked up many hobbies over the years, including wood working (mostly making things for his grandkids), reselling on eBay, gardening, and most recently hatching chickens. His real passions though were hunting and fishing. He loved being outdoors.

Dad was the most selfless man in the world when it came to his family. He would have given up anything to make sure any of us had what we needed. He had a heart of gold and was always working toward getting someone to laugh. He taught his kids how important family is, and we will all be forever grateful for the memories he left, and the lessons learned. Nothing could compare to the love he had for all his grandchildren. They were his pride and joy.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jimmy Brewer Sr. and Eudena Brewer; his wife of 43 years Janie Brewer; his favorite son Josh and wife Tabitha; his favorite older daughter Jennifer; his favorite baby girl Jessie and husband Trevor; brother Brian and wife Rosie; grandchildren who all adored their Poppa, Ryan, his number-one granddaughter Rylie, Ryatt, Preston, Brayden, Alexander, and Hendrix Donald - all of Holdenville.

We love and miss you Poppa.

Graveside services were held and Jimmy was laid to rest at Holdenville Cemetery, 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
