Jesusa Ysassi Buenrostro passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at University Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born in Robstown, Texas on May 29, 1922 to Dionicio and Tomasita (Garcia) Ysassi. Jesusa was the youngest of nine children. She was raised in Robstown Texas, belonged to Saint Anthony Catholic Church and attended Robstown schools. Jesusa married Guadalupe G. Buenrostro in 1945 and had two children born to their marriage, Gloria and Guadalupe A. Buenrostro. She provided a loving, happy and secure home life for her family. Jesusa enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, church activities, gardening and making special quilts for her grandchildren.

Jesusa is preceded in death by her husband, her parents,and 8 siblings: Alberto Ysassi, Refujia Davila, Tomas Ysassi, Inez Gonzales, Dionicio Ysassi Jr, Sara Cabello, Consuelo Contreras, and Antonia Elizaldi. Jesusa is survived by her son Guadalupe A. Buenrostro and Alicia of Corpus Christi, Texas and daughter Gloria Turner and husband John Scott of Holdenville, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren - Bobby Casarez and wife Cynthia of Corpus Christi Texas, Alex Buenrostro of Corpus Christ Texas, Elma Buenrostro of Hermosa Beach California, Amanda Gonzales and husband Carlos of Buda, Texas, Gina Turner Garrett and husband Deebo of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Ryan Turner of Pratt, Kansas, Jake Turner of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Emily Turner of Guthrie, Oklahoma; 11 great grandchildren; and lots and lots of family and friends that also love her very much.

Funeral service will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. and Visitation from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Ramon's Funeral Home, Robstown, Texas.
