Jerry Neal Hodges' Obituary
Jerry Neal Hodges passed away at his home in Holdenville, Oklahoma on Friday, July 15, 2016, at the age of forty-five years.
Jerry was the son of Jerry Neal Hodges Sr. & Janet (Smith) Hodges, born on May 17, 1971, in Granada Hills, California. He was reared and attended schools in Simi Valley. A traumatic bicycle accident when he was nine years old left him both physically and mentally handicapped.
Jerry enjoyed fishing. He loved people. He was always a good friend, and he liked making new friends. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Holdenville.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother, Janet; his brother, Richard Penrose; his son, Tyler Hodges.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Jerry & Mary Hodges of Holdenville; two stepsisters, Cathy Davis (Danny) of Ada, and Sheri Simonds (Brent) of Holdenville; two stepbrothers, John Morris (Stephanie) of West Hills CA, and Billy Morris (Lynette) of Holdenville; one niece, Lenay Penrose of Lancaster CA; aunt and uncle Margaret & Ed Reeves of Susanville CA; other family members and many friends.
Private family services are planned.
