Jeanith Lee Davis passed away at her home in Wewoka, Oklahoma, on Friday, June 26, 2015, at the age of 77 years.

Jeanith was the daughter of Abler & Nora (Tiger) Davis, born on August 14, 1937, in Sasakwa, Oklahoma, where she was brought up and attended schools. She worked as a waitress at Wacker's in Seminole, and later at Billy Bob's Barbeque in Shawnee. She was a devoted Elvis fan, and her favorite thing was watching "Walker, Texas Ranger" and "In the Heat of the Night".

Jeanith was a sincere and devout member of Little River Baptist Church, and was known to be a prayer warrior. She loved to sing traditional hymns. She was always smiling, always kind to everyone, with never a harsh word and never a complaint about her illness. The most important thing in life to her was taking care of her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Abler & Nora Davis; four brothers: Joe Davis, Jesse Davis, Tom Davis, Willie Davis, and one half brother, Bennie Davis; one sister, Jennie Davis.

She is survived by three sisters: Flora Factor of the home, Lana Bowlegs of Seminole, and Wanda Dodson of Holdenville; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, various other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 29, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel, and Jeanith will be laid to rest in the Davis Family Cemetery at Sasakwa. Rev. Frank Moppin will officiate. Pallbearers are Dakota Factor, Opie Davis, Kenny Bowlegs, Wendell Reschke, Roy Allen, and Ben Gravatt. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Davis, Adrian Factor, John Coon, Charles Davis, Abraham Davis, and Glen Davis.

There will be a wake service at Lillye Chapel on Sunday, June 28, at 6:00 p.m.
