Jackie Lynn Strong passed away at his home in Longtown, Oklahoma on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the age of 62 years.

Jackie is the son of Lloyd & Ruby (Moulder) Strong, born on September 22, 1962, in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He was brought up in Holdenville and attended Holdenville schools. He worked at various occupations, mostly in tree service. His final employment was with McCoy Tree Service, until he retired in 1997 due to injury. Some of his favorite things were fishing, pinball, playing with his grandpuppy Hercules, and hanging out with family. He enjoyed smoking weed and often referred to himself as a pothead. He loved horses and eagles.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd & Ruby Strong; four brothers: Butch Strong, Jimmy Lee, Dean Lee, and Eddie Robinson; sister Carolyn Gust; grandson Camdin Purvis.

He is survived by his wife, Donna, of the home; five children: Vanessa Beller of Shawnee, Kimberly Cottrell of Eufaula, Lonnie Lynn Strong of the home, Justin Purvis of Holdenville, Kenneth Purvis (Tracey) of the home; twelve grandchildren; three sisters: Patricia Crawford of Texas, Phyllis Walton of Oklahoma City, and Gracie Lee of Holdenville; one brother, Lonnie Strong, of Eufaula; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Graveside services were held and Jackie was laid to rest at Holdenville Cemetery, 1:00pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025, with Rev. Tony Faulkner officiating. Pallbearers were Jim Hodge, Steven Ishcomer, Mike Marsh, Josh Marsh, Jeremiah Worley, and Kenneth Purvis. Honorary pallbearers were Dennis Worley, Mike McDaniel, Mike Jenson, and Martin Jenson.
