Gerald Eugene Factor Jr passed in Okemah, Oklahoma on Monday, December 26, 2022, at the age of 71 years.

Gerald was the son of Gerald Eugene Factor Sr & Jeanetta (Vaughn) Factor, born on March 14, 1951, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He was brought up and attended schools in both Oklahoma and Texas, and worked as a ranch hand in the Fort Worth area. He was very passionate about his Indian heritage and culture, and always tried to teach the younger generation how to speak the Creek language. He was a talented artist and enjoyed painting pictures. He loved riding horses, watching movies, and enjoying a good drink now and then.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald & Jeanetta Factor; two sisters, Peggy Meeks and Deanie Scott, and one brother, Ronald Shoopman.

He is survived by one son, Phillip Factor of Fort Worth TX, and one daughter, Kimberly Factor of Oklahoma City; one grandson, Colton Factor; two sisters, June Epperson of Fort Worth TX and Alice Stotts of Kingfisher OK; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Graveside funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, 2:00pm at Many Springs Baptist Church Cemetery south of Holdenville.
