Floy Treat Davis passed away in Okemah on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at the age of 72 years.
Floy was the daughter of Gilbert & Bessie (Sloss) Treat, born on August 20, 1940, in Merced, California. She moved back and forth with her family from California to Oklahoma for several years. She was a graduate of Calvin High School in Calvin, Oklahoma, class of 1959. Holdenville had been her home for 47 years.
Floy was a homebody, and enjoyed watching television. She loved true stories and mystery shows; she particularly liked to watch 'Matlock' and often mentioned that she thought Columbo was 'cute'. She liked to walk, and was a familiar sight in Holdenville, walking to and from anywhere she was going within walking distance. She will be missed by many friends in the community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert & Bessie Treat, one brother, Ray Treat, and one son, Charles Davis.
She is survived by two sons, Dwayne Davis of Holdenville, and Donald Davis and wife Robin of Tulsa; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary & Dale Davis of Claremore, and Sally & Bill Bell of Broken Arrow; other family members and many friends.
Graveside services will be held and Floy will be laid to rest in the Holdenville Cemetery on Monday, February 4, 2013, at 11:00 a.m.
