Faye (Thompson) Hodgins passed from this life on Saturday, February 27, 2016, in Holdenville, at the age of 95 years.
Faye was the daughter of Edgar and Effie (Lawhawn) Thompson, born on October 8, 1920 in Uttleyville, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Patrick M. Hodgins; her parents, Edgar and Effie Thompson; two brothers, Ed Jr. Thompson and Homer Thompson; one sister, Lora Lee Toby, and one granddaughter, Lisa Hodgins.
Faye Married Patrick M. Hodgins in Wewoka, Oklahoma on January 4, 1943 and they resided in Holdenville, Oklahoma until 1970. After retiring from owner and founder of Covey Corporation, they moved to Oklahoma City where Pat was an engineer for Star Building until his death on May 29, 1989.
Faye was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, studying genealogy, working crossword puzzles, and visiting with her children, nephews and grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons; Trent Hodgins and his wife, Beverly, of Holdenville, and Rick Hodgins and his wife, Sherron, of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren: Shane Hodgins and his wife, Shannon, of Holdenville, Amy Hodgins Craig and her husband, Cassidy, of Gulf Shore, Alabama, Ladd Hodgins of Dallas, Texas and Lisa Hodgins, who preceded her in death; two nephews, Will Toby and his wife, Brenda, of Edmond, Oklahoma and Jerry Toby of Guthrie, Oklahoma; Ten great-grandchildren.
