Edwin Keith 'Eddie' Moody passed away on August 14, 2018 at his home in Bowlegs, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years.
Eddie was born November 10, 1951, to Homer Moody & Dovie Elizabeth (Gore) Moody, in Bakersfield, California. His family moved to Wewoka, Oklahoma in 1964. He was married on June 10, 1994, to Brenda Robertson. They had twin children, A. J. and Misty Dawn, and were longtime residents of Wewoka. Eddie worked 38 years for Moody Oilfield before retiring and moving to Bowlegs OK in 2003.
Eddie was a member of White Stone Baptist Church until it was closed. He loved to fish, and loved bowling and playing pool - and always had to have his own equipment, which he always brought with him. He enjoyed woodworking, and made many beautiful things of wood. He was an avid movie buff and loved Sci-Fi, particularly Godzilla movies.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Homer & Dovie Moody; two brothers, Harold Moody and Wayne Moody, and one sister, Faye Moody-Hayes.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brenda, of the home; two children, twins A. J. Moody and Misty Dawn Smith, and one grandchild, Melissa Rose Smith, all of Bowlegs; two brothers, Donny Moody of Rapid City SD and Jim Moody (Marilyn) of Wewoka; other family members and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 18, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel, with interment following at Wolf Cemetery, Wolf, Oklahoma. Rev. Clive Cochran was the officiating minister.
