Dean Crowell passed away at his daughter and son-in-law's residence in Sandia, Texas on August 6, 2018. He was formerly a long-time resident of Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was born to Earl Allen Crowell & Ida Irene (Moore) Crowell on November 14, 1941, in Midway, Arkansas. On April 7, 1962, he married the love of his life and best friend, Gloria Marie Townzen, in Morgan Hill, California, and from that union his son, John Allan Crowell, and daughter, Kimberly Marie (Crowell) Wright were born.
He is preceded in death by his wife, son, and both of his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly and son-in-law Timothy Wright, of Sandia TX; four grandchildren: Ashley Hicks of Holdenville OK, Logan Miller and his wife Sara, of Holdenville OK, and Jon Crowell of the Tulsa OK area; five great grandchildren: Madison, Makenzi, Aiden, Trinity, and Nathan, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018, at Grace United Pentecostal Church in Holdenville, with Pastor Kevin Fisher officiating the service. Pallbearers were Ashley Hicks, Adam Griffin, Logan & Sara Miller, David Hamilton, and Jeff Crowell. Interment followed at the Holdenville Cemetery.
