Deanne Lyn Martin passed away in Calvin, Oklahoma on Monday, August 15, 2022, at the age of 68 years.

Deanne was the daughter of Vernon L. Martin & Marianne (Lane) Martin, born on October 5, 1953 in Chehalis, Washington.

Deanne lived for many years in Lake Tahoe, California, where she worked in various occupations including waitress, home health care, and house cleaning. She moved to Calvin in 1994 and was a resident there for twenty-eight years. She worked for many years as a housekeeper. She enjoyed playing Wahoo and games on computer including Farmville on Facebook. She loved her cats, dogs, family, her Lord, her church family, and horses. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon L. Martin and Marianne (Lane) Wright; her brother, Bruce Martin.

She is survived by two children: son Jason Stewart (Linda) of Berea KY, and daughter Jennifer Grady (Grant) of University Place WA; five grandchildren: Cody Stewart, Lisa Grady, Deanette Grady, Abbie Grady, and Lucas Grady; her sister, Linda Bennett of Calvin; three nieces: Tanya Foster (Richard) of Brownsville CA, Rhonda Tweedle (Sean) of Calvin, and Michelle Ogle (James) of Francis; cousin Kurt Selvig of Oregon; great-nephew Dalton Nunley (Shyra) of Allen; special friend Joe Harden of Calvin; other cousins and family members in Oregon, Washington, and Maine, and many friends.

Graveside services were held on Friday, August 19, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Calvin Cemetery Chapel, with Rev. Kurtis Stoll officiating.
