David Bruce Dodd Jr. passed away at his home near Wewoka, Oklahoma on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the age of 67 years.

David was the son of David Bruce Dodd Sr. & Margie June (Gaines) Dodd, born on October 11, 1956, in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He was brought up and attended schools in Enid and Oklahoma City, and in Michigan when the family moved there in 1968. David returned to Oklahoma in 1974 and lived in the Stillwater area for several years before settling in Wewoka, his home for the past twenty years. He worked for a time in the oilfield and then for many years as Sales/Finance Director for various auto dealerships. For the past twenty years he has been in the business of owning and renting properties. He loved motor vehicles in general and particularly loved riding Harleys. He loved guns and enjoyed both shooting and collecting.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David & Margie Dodd.

He is survived by two children: son David Dodd III of Wewoka, and daughter Erin Dodd of Michigan; four grandchildren; one sister, Linda June Isbell of McLoud, and one brother, William Dodd of Michigan; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Memorial services were held on Friday, August 16, 2024, 10:30am at Fisher Funeral Home-Lillye Chapel, with Mr. Steve Walton officiating.
