Darren Dewayne O'Kelly was born January 7, 1967 in Castro Valley, CA to Jerry and Thelma O'Kelly. He passed away on November 30, 2021 in McAlester, OK.

Darren loved being a truck driver and drove over a million miles and received a watch to commemorate this achievement. He also loved fishing. From an early age he spent lots of time fishing with his parents, aunts and uncles, cousins and his grandma Pearl. In his later life he continued to fish as often as he could sharing his love with his kids, family and friends.

He was the father of 6 and the grandfather of 8 children.

He is preceded in death by 3 sons, Zachary O'Kelly, Daniel O'Kelly and Brandon O'Kelly, his dad, Jerry O'Kelly, granddaughter Scarlett Miller, grandmothers Pearl Castleman and Maude Bales, grandfather Harold Castleman.

He is survived by his mom, Thelma O'Kelly, daughters Elizabeth O'Kelly, Brittany Miller (Trenton), and Hillary O'Kelly. He is also survived by grandchildren Masson, Brandolynn, Deklan, Bentley, Evalynn, Jackson, and Milo, sister Karen Rowe (Wes), nephew Ryan Ledo (Kelly) and niece Rindi Ledo.

At his request Darren will be cremated. No service is planned at this time.
