Danny Alson Williams passed away at his home in Wewoka on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at the age of 53 years.
Danny was the son of Bevan & Wanda (Beason) Williams, born on October 30, 1960, in Lodi, California. He was brought up and attended schools in the Lodi/Stockton area. He worked for the family business, Williams Ranch, a grape vineyard and supplier for the Gallo Winery.
Danny moved to Oklahoma in 1993, to the Wewoka / Holdenville area. He worked assembling pontoons for Blue Wave Boats in Seminole. Some of his favorite things were fishing, assembling models, and collecting knickknacks.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bevan & Wanda Williams, and a great-nephew, Seth Little.
He is survived by three brothers and one sister: Beven William Jr. of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Alan Williams of Wewoka, Curt Williams of Modesto, California, and Kimberly Rutherford and husband Danny of Sonora, California; his stepfather, Kenneth Burkhead of Holdenville; four sisters-in-law: Charmin Fehse of Wewoka and Eunita Little (Sam), Jackie Rednose (Travis), and Linda Barnes, all of Cromwell; two brothers-in-law, Dewayne Morris (Sandy) and Alvin Morris (Gwen), both of Wewoka; numerous other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service was held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the House of Prayer in Wewoka, with Rev. Johnny Chesser officiating.
