Dale Barton's Obituary
Dale Barton passed away in Oklahoma City on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at the age of 91 years.
Dale was the son of Roy & Irene (Nash) Barton, born on December 22, 1927 in Lamar, Oklahoma, where he was brought up and attended schools. He served in the U.S. Army in Japan, at the end of World War II. He was a farmer, and lived his entire life in the Lamar-Holdenville area.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Irene Barton; his sister, Glenda Mae Barton, and three brothers: Bruce Barton, Ansel Barton, and Ronald Barton.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and close friends Johnny Jay and Mary Wardlow.
Memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Fisher Funeral Home's Lillye Chapel, with Rev. Joe Lunsford officiating.
