Obituary

Cynthia Ann Long Orsburn passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011 in Eufaula, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years.

Cynthia, known to many friends as 'Dee Dee', was the daughter of Nathan Long, Sr. & Cindy (McGeeley) Long, born on October 13, 1956, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was brought up in the Holdenville area, and attended Yeager and Holdenville schools.

Cynthia was married to Michael Ray Orsburn on March 5, 2001, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She loved sewing of any kind, quilting, fishing, eating out and traveling often. She was an accomplished seamstress, and worked many years as a seamstress for Seamprufe in Holdenville, Sport Support in Konawa, and Wrangler in Seminole, retiring due to disability in 2000. She attended various churches in the Holdenville area.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Nathan & Cindy Long.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Orsburn, of the home; one son, Timothy Long and wife Sarah, of Holdenville; one grandson, Jedidiah Long of Holdenville; three stepsons: Daryl Orsburn of Checotah, Chad Orsburn of Minnesota, Brian Orsburn of Wewoka, and one stepdaughter, Marsha Bartley of Moore; seven step grandchildren: Gage Orsburn, Autumn Orsburn, Aden Orsburn, C. J. Orsburn, Robbie Orsburn, Ty Bartley and Cameron Bartley; three brothers: Beaver Ward of Shawnee, Donald Long and Nathan 'Dozer' Long, Jr., both of Holdenville; three sisters: Nancy Long, Martha Long and Frances Long, all of Holdenville; two nephews, Stephen Giles and Cody Long, and one niece, Joni Long, all of Holdenville. Numerous other relatives and many, many friends.
