Cynthia Jane Crawford passed away in Oklahoma City on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at the age of 53 years.
Cynthia was the daughter of Jim & Brenda (Allgood) Jones, born on August 30, 1961, in Reno, Nevada. At a young age, she moved with her family to Wewoka, Oklahoma in the 1970s and lived there until moving to Shawnee in 1984. She has made her home for the past three years in Seminole.
Before her health failed and she became physically disabled, Cynthia worked for several years as a security officer for Wal Mart. She enjoyed reading and doing crafts, and she loved animals, all animals. She always enjoyed planting a flower garden. She loved most spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two children: son Eddie Griffin and wife, Kelli, and daughter Gena Griffin, all of Holdenville; five grandchildren: Shelby Brianna Hugh, Dakota L. Griffin, Hallie Dawn Griffin, Zoey Ann Griffin, and Torrin S. Cummings; her parents, Jim & Brenda Jones of Wewoka; two brothers, Jimmy Jones of Shawnee and Dale Crawford of Holdenville; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015, 1:00 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Holdenville, with Rev. Dane Robinson officiating.
