Crystal Dawn (Childers) Fulks passed away at her home in Holdenville, Oklahoma on Sunday evening, June 30, 2019, at the age of 35 years.
Crystal was the daughter of Charles Childers and Yvonne (Merrix) Ayala, born on October 6, 1983, in West Covina, California. She was brought up and attended schools in Bowlegs, Oklahoma. She attended Job Corp in Guthrie, Oklahoma, graduating in 2001.
She lived in the Wewoka and Seminole area, and until her health failed, she attended Gleaners Holiness Church in Wewoka. Some of her favorite things were fishing and camping, and being creative with various crafts. What she loved was being a caregiver, she was always helping and taking care of someone.
Crystal is preceded in death by her father, Charles Frank Childers.
She is survived by her mother, Yvonne Ayala of Pomona, California, and her stepmother, Melinda Childers of Holdenville; three sisters: Carrie Nunn of McAlester, Mary McCoy of Seminole, and Roxanne Ayala of Pomona CA; one brother, Fernanco Ayala Jr. of Greeley CO; her stepfather, Fernando Ayala of Pomona CA; nieces Haley Nunn and Laney Nunn, both of McAlester, and Hannah McCoy of Seminole; two nephews, Anthony Childers and Matthew McCoy, both of Seminole; numerous other relatives, and many friends.
Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Gleaners Holiness Church in Wewoka, with Rev. Larry Chesser officiating.
